Turning an Overgrown Garden into a Modern Sanctuary
The client’s garden had become overgrown and uninspiring, leaving them unsure how to create a usable, attractive outdoor space. Designer Katerina Kantalis envisioned a transformation that would merge sleek modern lines with lush tropical planting. The goal was to design a striking garden that balanced texture, colour and form, offering high visual impact with minimal upkeep.
Granite & Slate Composite Decking with Floating Benches
To achieve the look, Granite Explorer composite decking was chosen for its bold black tone and wood-grain texture, contrasting beautifully with grey paving tiles. Slate Frontier decking was used to craft two bespoke floating benches, blending utility with refined detailing. The result is a calm yet dynamic space where greenery, water features, and sculptural elements come together in a serene, contemporary retreat.
