Creating a Seamless Transition from Home to Garden Room
The client wanted to convert their simple city garden into a more usable, visually striking outdoor space that includes a dedicated garden room for work and relaxation. To support that vision, the existing patio was replaced, new raised beds were introduced, and planting was carefully selected. The new deck extends from the garden room using Granite composite decking, creating a smooth and stylish transition through the open bifold doors and linking the indoor and outdoor living areas.
Granite Explorer Decking & Complementary Material Blends
For the decking surface, Granite Explorer composite boards were chosen to blend with the modern aesthetic and colour scheme of the garden room. The design uses limestone and clay pavers adjacent to the decking to provide texture contrast while maintaining elegance and low maintenance.
