Upgrading to Commercial-Grade Composite Decking for a Hotel Terrace

The seafront Malmaison hotel had existing hardwood decking on room balconies and terraces that had weathered badly. As part of a full refurbishment, the client required a commercial-grade composite board capable of resisting corrosion, decay and wear in a harsh salt-water climate. The brief demanded durability, anti-slip performance and long-term aesthetic consistency with minimal maintenance.

Using Slate Frontier Decking to Withstand the Elements

The chosen product was Slate Frontier composite decking, selected for its robust outer capping and resistance to harsh environmental conditions. The project covered 450 m², was completed over 4 weeks and included bespoke short-notice delivery coordination by EnviroBuild to meet the refurbishment schedule.

"After the successful installation and service received from the EnvrioBuild team, the client has specified Frontier composite decking on a number of other hotels across the UK."
