Designing a Sustainable Showcase Garden
For the Ideal Home Show 2025, EnviroBuild teamed up with renowned garden designer Lynne Lambourne to craft a display that merged aesthetics with eco performance. The goal was to present a modern garden concept that looked beautiful under show conditions while also demonstrating genuine sustainability credentials. Using Explorer boards set in Silver Birch allowed for a natural wood look with none of the maintenance or rot concerns of timber.

Why Explorer Silver Birch Was Chosen for Performance & Longevity
Explorer Silver Birch composite decking was selected for its visual appeal and robust durability. The boards resist splintering, warping, and decay, making them ideal for high-traffic show environments. In contrast to traditional wood decking, this solution offers longevity (up to 25 years) with minimal upkeep.
Call to Action

“Always my first choice when designing a decking or paving area in a garden. Sustainability is hugely important to me so the fact that it's decking made from 90% recycled material using only wind energy is fabulous… Unlike wood decking this won’t rot or splinter, lasts for 25 years and is low maintenance.”
