Designing a Relaxing Sun Deck in the Garden
The client wanted to create a large, inviting outdoor space for entertainment and relaxation under the sun. They opted to use Walnut Hyperion composite decking with a picture-frame border to accentuate the edges of the deck and make it visually striking. The goal: a seamless extension of their patio area, transformed into a comfortable, stylish deck that’s easy to maintain.
Installation & Material Choices for Durability and Safety
To build the deck, EnviroBuild used low-profile recycled plastic bearers, allowing for a stable, level structure that blends with the existing patio. The wood-grain side of the boards was chosen for its natural appearance, while still offering high slip resistance on both faces. This ensures the deck is safe even when wet, giving peace of mind for everyday use.
