Luxurious Decking Path

This countryside property in the heart of Cornwall required a boardwalk-style pathway that would keep it's grip in wet conditions and stand the test of time. With these requirements in mind, EnviroBuild's Hyperion composite decking boards were an apt choice.

The Solution

40 Silver Birch Explorer decking boards were used for the pathway, chosen for their embossed woodgrain effect, as well as the fact that Explorer trims that could make effortless looking steps with ease.
The contemporary design of the decking sits charmingly between dry stone walling and natural grassy inclines, creating a beautiful and distinctive contrast. The boards were cut along their lengths at angles in order to create a meandering walkway with an organic feel, and Explorer edge board trims were used to give the steps a continuous look.

Customer Feedback

“Firstly, it has to be said that the Envirobuild Hyperion Explorer decking board path looks amazing and laying the path using their fittings was truly simple. The embossed wood grain finish is very effective and the look is set off nicely by the 6 mm gaps.
The surface is flat, matt, and completely firm to the step even in the wettest of conditions; something that can definitely not be said of wood decked walkways."
